The company I.V.H. has been manufacturing and marketing mechanised insulating fittings since 1934. However, techniques have progressed over the past ten years. Today, the company provides insulators to all train, tram and metro constructors all over the world.
While Pierre Hallet has manoeuvred skilfully to keep this family business on course, he has not forgotten the path trod by his father and his grandfather. "It was my grandfather who, in 1934, founded the company that still bears his name 70 years later and, more importantly, that is still active in the same sector". Victor Hallet was joined by his son in 1947. Pierre Hallet joined the company in 1982. He took the reins in 1993, upon the death of his father. Today, the order book is full until 2007 and the 40% of the company's turnover comes from exports.
