1934 Victor Hallet begins trading in insulators
1947 Jacques Hallet (Victor's son) leaves school and begins to help his father develop the company.
1950-60 The range is extended to include all products for motor and transformer coils and the company covers the entire national market.
1960-70 Exports increase, to Zaire in particular
1970-80 The machined parts workshop offers a customer services solution
1982 Pierre Hallet joins his grandfather and father and introduces materials to replace asbestos cement.
1984 The workshop is moved to its present site in anticipation of future developments.
1986 The first digitally controlled machine comes into operation in the workshop. The company focuses on the railway sector in particular.
1987 Victor Hallet passes away after a life devoted entirely to insulators, having passed on all his experience to his son and his grandson.
1991 Machining insulating fittings is now the main activity, and major investments are made to supplement the machine park.
1993 Jacques Hallet passes away after a long illness.
1994-97 An infusion of young blood into the staff gives a kick-start to the commercial activities of Isolants Victor Hallet.
1996 Moulded parts are added to the product range
1997 Pierre Hallet decides to focus activities on bespoke, machined, moulded and injected parts. The company now operates internationally.
1998 The workshop has six machining centres and 95% of production is done on CNC machines.
2001 ISO 9001 : 2000 certification
2002 Exports account for 40 % of the turnover.
2004 The company celebrates its 70th anniversary and sets its sights on the Asian market
